Just weighed in- THREE pounds gone this week which means I lost all the weight gained before and while on vacation and I'm officially back on track!

I think I'm going to have to change my weigh in day to Friday. here's my question/thought for the day- if you weigh in once a week- would you ratehr weigh in on a Monday to make yourself keep in check on the weekend, or weigh in on Friday so you have the weekdays to make up for the weekend? Does time of day matter to you?
My answer: I think the best thing for me is to attend the WW meeting on Friday and 8:30 AM, after I drop the boys off. But, I'm scared I'll mentally think "oh I weighed in, free pass for the weekend!". But whatever. I've got to do what I've got to do, right!?!?!
Finding time to fit this in is 100,000X's more challenging than I thought it would be. Ugh.

i didnt do a weigh in,. because i was good all last week, and really bad all weekend.
For me its better to wiegh in on monday ,because it keeps me focused all week, untill friday rolls around and im like f-it, lets have a good weekend!!!!
So maybe i need to wiegh in mondays and fridays.... hmmmm
Good for you, H!! I'm so happy for you! See?? It's ALL cumulative! Don't let a little gain get you down again when you know a week or two away can be an even BIGGER loss. You are rocking it!
I never did meetings, only weighed at home...and so I made Wednesday my weigh-in day. I wanted mine as far away from the weekends as possible :P ...I think if I had to choose between Mon and Fri though, I would choose Fri.

Given the choice, I would rather weigh-in on Fridays. I'm going to eat how I'm going to eat on the weekends whether I use the points right away after my Friday weigh-in or save them all week after a Monday weigh-in. I'd rather have the week to recover than hit the scale so soon after two days off.

I have stopped eating dessert and am trying not to eat any kind of white flour or sugar. I have slipped a few times with the bread, but even so have lost about 8 lbs in just under a month. That's great, but kind of horrifying to think just how much dessert I was eating.
I am still 50 lbs away from where I want to be, but at least things are moving in the right direction. We have some big, major life changes afoot and all I want to do is eat the stress away, so it's tough.
I am also dealing with the post-baby-second-csection roll of flab. It's disgusting and I feel like there is nothing I can wear that's the least bit flattering. I need to get my ass to the gym because I know that cardio is the only thing that will touch it. I have no delusions that I will ever have a flat stomach, but I would like to be able to wear pants that button again.

I ate way too much on our Napa getaway this weekend and so i was not happy with the number on the scale this morning. Oh well, I guess i have to just be careful and make up for it this week!
I like to weight myself in the morning and on a Friday. Mondays are just all around drab days for me so weighing in just adds to the toughness of the day!

I don't really do weekly weigh-ins although maybe I should start for a little more accountability. I just kind of weigh myself whenever I think of it.
With that said, I think I've gained a couple of lbs. I've been under a lot of stress and have found myself indulging in certain comfort foods a lot more.
I'm ready to turn it around though. Today I forced myself to go to the gym. I saw on their schedule that they have a yoga class on Wednesday so I think I'm going to go ahead and try that out this week. I need something to motivate me. How do you all find the time to work out? How do you make it a priority? I've had 101 excuses for not doing it over the last few weeks and I don't know how to get away from doing that. I guess I just have to force myself.

I have hit a wall though, I have 4-6 lbs left to lose and no matter what I do, it's not moving...
Way to go on the 3 lbs! I am so proud we have so many awsome nesties working hard on their health this summer.
Ok I have been weighing in on Wednesdays because it is shopping day and I like to combing WW with grocery day. Helps get me in the right mind frame to but good healthy food and they are close together. The weekends have been rough lately and I have been considering joining my neighbor at her Sat morning class just to stay focused.
As far as working out excuses... hmmm What I do is have a wk out partner whom I really enjoy seeing and hanging out with. So when I miss a workout I really miss her. Since I had the baby and she got a promotion with a ton more hours; Our evening work outs are the only time we seem to be able to see each other.
MY biggest current challenge is that DH has been comming home a bit later from work and with GEM walking it has been not as easy to leave her with MIL. I missed two workouts last week.
Over the weekend we problem solved and I am going to join a bigger gym with day care for a morning workout a few days a week and he promises to be home for two evenings durring the week for me to be with my girl buddy. SO I am hunting for a good gym in Monterey or possibly Watsonville.
