  I would also give him time and patience.  My DH is feeling the same way, so I've very slowly sent him information and brought it up occasionally in conversation.  I want him to come to the same conclusion on his own, because I'll need his support.  I have at least another 10 months to get him on board, so there's no rush.

  Oh, I completely agree with you!  We've been discussing it since DS was born, and I bring it up occasionally.  The other night when I brought it up he was a lot more receptive and asked me to gather some info for him - good sign!!
