Since DH and I work FT, E is at a center that does preschool & discovery learning (similiar to the Montessori style) starting from infant to school age. So she will stay there and just continue to learn. When I was looking to move her from her old DCP, it was important to me to find something she can stay in until she does go off to school.
We are enrolled to start a full time 5 day a week preschool in Sept! We have to have him potty trained by then and I have some upcoming pto to do it. Let's hope the 3 day cold turkey method works ( with. A few extra days built in). I can't believe he's going soon.
DS currently goes two days a week to the same place my DD goes to preschool. It's the same place they went to daycare when I was working full time. It was closer to work and isn't super close to home, so once DD starts kindergarten, I'm going to move him to a place closer to home. There are a couple of preschools that I really like, but I know one of them has a very long wait list.
DS will go to a co-op starting in September. It isn't exactly what I had in mind but I am giving it 6 months and if I don't love it then we will move him to the place I loved even though at the moment it is a little bit out of the budget.
I have an August 09 baby (a little younger) and she'll be starting a preschool program this September, 2 days a week for 3 hours at a time. I'm so excited. We both work full time, so she'll be with our nannyshare/neighbor the rest of the time.
E, what preschool are you going to? I can't remember if we are friends on Facebook but message me if you don't want to share on here :-) I'm thinking of doing a mommy/me class once a week with L, and a drop off preschool one day a week. I'm having such a hard time finding something that is close by, has the philosophy I'm looking for, starts at 2.5, and is the right price. I think once he's 3 and potty trained I will have many many more options!

If we continue to take DS to his DCP, she has a preschool program that she will include him in when I am back from maternity leave.
If we move DS, then I would prefer a Montessori program, and one that will take infants too.
