Diapers and nighttime

J sleeps 12-13 hours at night and has been waking up almost every morning with wet jammies.  :-(  It never happened when he was sleeping on his back, but now he's rolling to his tummy almost every time he goes down to sleep.  I switched over to Huggies Overnight diapers but it's still happening.  I feed him at 10 before we go to bed and I thought about changing his diaper then, but he usually doesn't wake up so I hate to wake him to change his diaper. Anyone have suggestions?

Re: Diapers and nighttime

  • When Lucas started to have accidents I began the midnight diaper change.

He sleeps right through it and we haven't had an accident since Smile

  • We went through the exact same thing. I get a size up now for the overnights, and have not had a problem since I switched.

The size up/overnight combo worked for us as well.

It'll pass soon, we went through phases where he peed a lot during the night and others where it was minimal.

Don't forget to double make his bed to make midnight wet bed changes super easy. ;)

  • We didn't like Huggies Overnights, they didn't work for us.  We like Pampers Overnights, don't have any issues with that brand.
  • Thanks ladies.  Looks like we'll be changing the diaper at 10 when I feed him until this box of overnight diapers runs out.  Then we'll try either a bigger size or the Pampers overnights.
