I have to ask... I knew this was going to be messy, but holy cow! We're only doing 1 or 2 meals a day right now, and usually 1 of those meals is more snack (fruit and veggies), but when we do a "real meal" I literally have to take DS into the shower and rinse him off. There is food EVERYWHERE, including his hair because he likes to wipe his hands off on his head. How am I going to do this when we're eating multiple times a day consistently?? Or when we are at restaurants? Not to mention the number of outfits we're gonna go through. Maybe I just need better bibs...
On the plus side, it's making for some adorable videos.
Re: BLWers...
Francesca Pearl is here! Josephine Hope is almost 3!
We use the bibs with the catch-all pocket at the bottom and LOVE those. They work wonderfully and we never get food on the clothes anymore. We use a wet washcloth for clean up as well, which works a lot better than wipes. They do get a lot more efficient and less messy as time goes on.
And when you get to 3 meals a day, you will do fine. It becomes just another part of the routine. I remember before DD was eating solids, I thought, how am I gonna start fitting 3 meals into my daily schedule? But the time finds itself, as well as time for clean up.
