My husband and I are moving to the Sarasota area and need a good day care program for our 7 week old daughter. I am looking for her to begin day care when she is about 3 or 4 months. Also would love to meet other new mommies in the area.
Here are some of the day cares I looked at that were recommended to me by other Moms in the area. There is a daycare at SMH they have 2 centers, Church of the Palms and TLC daycare.
Also there is a Moms and babies group that meets every wednesday morning at SMH. I could not find the times but you can call 941.917.1700 and find out when they meet
We use Little Scholar's Preschool and Child Care Center. I LOVE it!! If you want more details please feel free to PM me. I also did a ton of research, so if that doesn't work for your location I can probably recommend some other places.

My children will be going to St. James Early Learning Academy starting in August. My son went there starting when he was 3 months old until he was 18 months old. The staff is great and they are very affordable. If you want more information feel free to PM me.
We have a sitter come to our home, but in regard to the Moms and babies group at SMH, the 0-6 month old group meets from 11 a.m.-noon, and the 6-12 month old group is from 12:30 p.m.-1:30 p.m. It's a great group
