Dicipline Books?

I've seen a few suggested here before, would you mind re-posting?  DS has started hitting, and I can tell he knows he's not supposed to, he does it when he is frustrated or not getting his way and we'd like to read up on the different and effective ways to dicipline at his age.

TIA!

  • Ah, hitting. Sean went through that at about the same age. Its fun. I don't have any book recs for you but just wanted to tell you I know how it is and it will pass!

This. I use the strategy in my classroom and it works wonders!

  • 123 Magic changed our lives for the better!

  • I'm reading 1-2-3 Magic too.  We haven't really gotten into it though but counting does work for DD.

  • I just started reading 1-2-3 Magic.  The school that I will teach at this year uses the book as the foundation for the behavior management plan.  So far I really like it!
