So we moved and house is for sale

We are now in Sunnyvale ...well temporarily in corporate housing until our house is available in Redwood City in August.  Cannot be soon enough. Apartment living is tough w/ kids and give much credit to those that do it. The upside is we go to the pool everyday and the housing is free. We took about 5 days to drive down w/ our cars - each w/ one of the kids w/ us. Longest road trip ever for sure and some really fun interruptions like my car randomly deciding to stop on a 2 lane highway in 100 degree weather. We made it but our last leg was 12 hours of travel.

Anyway - DH's first day at Facebook is today yay! New chapter. A little bittersweet as I feel like Seattle will always be home. House is on the market though. If you (or anyone you know) are interested in a 3br/2bath remodeled home in Wedgwood PM me. It is listed at $524,900 which isn't exactly everyone's price range. :-)

    So glad to hear you arrived safely! What a trip! 12 hours on the road does not sound like fun with kids...in 2 cars....at least you are there. Are you buying a house or is one picked out for you? Think of it as aadventure...hope you get settled in soon! Will you be looking for preschools?

    We've already been down to find a house. We're just renting for a year until we figure out where we want to be etc. It's a great house though and bigger than the one we had in Seattle which is nice. It is a great adventure and overall has been fine...just REALLY hard to let go of the house and leave family. It's really nice here though and I think we'll like it.  I found a preschool too which is a bit of a relief...well I think I found one. He has a spot we are visiting tomorrow to get the gut check and feel of the place. :)

    Glad you guys made it safe, sounds like quite an adventure!  Hope your able to find the perfect home that makes you feel like your at home soon!!

    Congrats!! I'm glad you made it in one piece!  I heard Facebook is a great company to work for.
