Question for those who have stopped nursing

We will be weaning shortly. How long do I wait before I buy normal bras again? So how long does it take for them to find their new, non-nursing size? And how did they compare to pre-pregnancy size? Larger? Smaller?

    I bought a new bra about 3 weeks after. I was so excited and went and spent a gift certificate at Victoria's Secret that I had been saving for the occasion... well, I didn't wait long enough. The bra fit me nicely for a couple of weeks and then all of a sudden it was too big. I would say to wait maybe 6 weeks or so... I can't really remember because it was over a year ago.

    With DS my nursing bras were too big at the end and I went out and bought new bras....and then a month later had to buy more new bras.  And the very small girls were even smaller when we were done nursing.  I'm thinking I might need a training bra when DD weans.  Stick out tongue

    Am I the only one looking forward to boob srinkage???  I will miss the 500 extra calories a day without exercise!

    Ditto!  So hoping they do this time.  I didn't BF very long or very successfully with Eli, but they went back to my same pre-BF size D.  I will not miss barely fitting into a DD like I am right now!  I would be completely content with a nice C post-BF... here's hoping!

    after I weaned, I fit into bras I used to wear pre-pregnancy at one of my heavier weights.  I went down 1 cup size (from DD to D).  In general, I don't notice much of a difference, but as I've lost weight they've gotten smaller, but that's par for the course for me - I lose weight in my boobs first.
