Flying with baby?

On Friday I will be flying to SC with LO.  Any tips?  I'm a nervous wreck about it.

    Wear her :)  Flights with D were easy-peasy with him in the ring sling.  We're flying again in a week and I'll do the same thing.  Also, check whatever you can.  I just took him and the diaper bag on the plane with me.

    I second wearing her.  I put LO in the Bjorn and I didn't even have to take her out to go through security.  I checked the car seat and just brought on the diaper bag and another carry-on.

    Also, at this age, she might sleep through the whole flight.  I nursed on take-off to help with her ears, and then she slept until landing -- which was perfect, since I nursed her again.  She did cry (probably because of pressure in her ears), but the flight attendant actually complimented me on how well she did.

    Don't be nervous -- I thought the whole thing was easy!

    We just flew to Boston for the holiday and recently got back. I was so nervous about flying with him but he did great!

    I checked the carseat and gate checked the stroller (wanted to have it with me for the long layovers). I carried on his diaper bag. I gave him a bottle or pacifier on take off and landing and then he slept pretty much the entire flight.
