DD has been catnapping all day for no more than 30 min but it's usually only 20. She's such a good sleeper! I'm exhausted! She HASto be tired. I don't know what I'm going to do if she doesn't sleep tonight. Probably cry a lot.
I don't really have much advice. When DS won't sleep, I'll try anything. Sometimes the swing, sometimes the crib, sometimes in the Baby Bjorn, sometimes with me sitting on the couch holding him, sometimes with me standing and rocking him. He may want to be swaddled, he may not. So far, if he's tired, I've never had to try more than three of these things before he's fallen asleep. Hmmm, maybe switching from one thing to another wears him out...
Anyway...good luck.

I feel you. D naps for 20 minute spurts and has now decided that sleeping 2 hours at a time at night is enough, and wants to play. Hence why we're wide awake at 5am (and have been since about 4:15). I hope it passes soon, I haven't had this little sleep since he was born.

Thanks ladies! I was going insane last night. She eventually just started crying and she seemed ok so I think it's just because she was exhausted and she wouldn't even nurse. I was almost ready to try formula thinking her constant nursing and left me empty and she needed more. And you're right PP I think there is something about being awake at 4 months does that last a long time? Eventually we gave her a bath (which she loves) to calm her down and we used the lavender soap and lotion and after another long nurse g session she was out. Thank God!
