As part of getting back on track this week, I need to plan out our dinner menu (I didn't last week, and it was a total downfall of my diet!)
Here is what I'm doing:
- M: dh works late, leftovers for E and I (steak fajitas, which I'll use in a big salad)
- T: again, dh works late. Probably going to my parents, so my mom can color my hair (holy grey hairs)
- W: greek marinated chicken for gyros, with homemade ww pita and tzatziki, some type of grilled veggie on the side (zucchini, probably)
- Th: grilled tilapia, baby red potatoes and salads
- F: ? My FIL is coming in to town (rescheduled from this past weekend) so we'll probably grill
- Sat: out for dinner w/ FIL
- Sun: DH and I plan on having a late appetizer/snack style dinner while watching the new season of Breaking Bad... not sure what yet, but definitely some healthy snacks!
Re: Weekly Menus
Sunday: Marinated chicken kabobs w/ mushrooms, yellow squash & red peppers, brown rice, corn on the cob
Monday: Goat cheese tortellini (thank you Wegmans!) w/red sauce, salad, garlic bread
Tuesday: Marinated venison steaks, baked potatoes, zucchini
Wednesday: DH's golf night. I think DD & I will go to my parents for dinner.
Thursday: Whatever I can use up to help clean out the fridge!
Friday: Pizza b/c we'll be packing and getting things together for vacation
Saturday: We'll be in our cottage at Black Lake! I think we're just grilling burgers.
Sunday: Out
Monday: Meatball sandwiches
Tuesday: Teriyaki Porkchops with mashed potatoes and mixed veggies
Wednesday: Leftovers. We had a Chicken Pasta on Sunday that we have a lot of leftovers for as well.
Thursday: Homemade Pizza
Friday: TBD. We will be packing and getting things ready to leave on vacation in the morning.
Saturday & Sunday: We are on vacation! Who knows!
M: pork tenderloin, roasted pepers and squash
Tue: pesto chicken, potato salad, corn
W: pulled pork and sweet potato fries
Th: Steak from our cow 1/4!! salad from the csa veggies
F: not sure
Sat: Melting Pot after Harry Potter!! woo-hoo!!
Sunday - cheeseburgers, pasta salad
Monday - grilled speidie chicken, rice packet
Tuesday - ground chicken stroganoff
Wednesday - ravioli
Thursday - shrimp scampi, tiny abc egg noodles with cheese
Friday - undetermined takeout
Saturday -pork chops, pierogies
