Okay, I think this will be the easiest way to do it. I will post a new thread for each category, if you would like to enter that category post a pic. 24hrs after posting the category thread I will post a new thread (with a clicky link to the original category thread) and you can vote on your favorite by writing that posters screen name--ex.my favorite pic for the "best cranky face" category was posted by mrsjanks so in the voting thread I would post a reply with "mrsjanks" in it. I think we should leave the voting threads open until next Sunday night?? And then I will tally the votes and announce the winners!! Let the cute picture posting and voting begin Big Smile

ETA: directions for posting a pic: you have to upload your photo to a site like tinypic or photbucket first, once you've done that copy the direct link on whichever site you have uploaded your pic to, and once you have hit reply to the post you want to reply to click the icon that looks like a picture (next to the smiley face), a new window will pop up and you will be able to paste the link to your photo there, click "insert" and your pic should show up in your reply! If the pic is too big, click on the picture icon again and you will be able to adjust the size and then hit update.

    You can always make the voting thread a clicky poll which each person who entered listed as an answer.  That way it will all be added up for us!

    I will try but whenever I try to do a clicky poll it doesn't work Sad that and I wasn't sure if there was a max number of "options" it would let me add if I did it that way. We'll see!

    wait, so how many days of picture posting will there be? just one and then the thread will be up to vote? or we can post pictures till sunday and then vote after all the pictures have been uploaded?

    I was going to start voting late tonight or tomorrow and then leave both posting and voting threads open until Sunday that way the posting threads don't get buried by new posts.
