Depends which liner I am using. I prefer the "old school" bags. When I use the bags I squeeze the air out. When I use the drop in bags I find that if I squeeze the air out the bag doesn't always stay put. Since I am using BM in the bottle it makes me crazy when it spills. So I don't squeeze the air out of drop in bags.
That was a very complicated answer! Sorry.

I also prefer the old school bags because with the drop-ins the air goes right back in. Usually I just have DH watch how much BM is left so she doesn't get air.
I do not squeeze or push the air out when she gets a bottle. I know that's what you were supposed to do with the old school ones, but it doesn't say to do it anywhere on the packaging/instructions for any of the bottles or liners so I don't.

I don't squeeze them. From what I understand via the google gods, the old style bags were meant to be squeezed, but the new style drop-ins are supposed to collapse naturally. I have never had an issue arise from not squeezing the air out.
