Idk how to get my almost 10month to learn how to drink from a sippy cup I tired giving it to her, she she just puts in her mouth a few times and gets bored of it like its a toy lol Any suggestions?
My LO uses a straw cup. I gave him one of those packets of baby food and he sucked it down. I figured that since he could suck food from a packet he could probably use a straw so I tried it and he did great.
My LO never liked the ones with the hard spout. I finally tired the Nuby ones with the soft tip and he loves it. Maybe try different types of sippy cups.
Try different types. My daughter likes the nuby brand with handles. I give it to her with water in it which she loves and kepts "helping" her use it. Within a week she got it. Its so cute how she knows to lean her hed back now to get it out.
We had no luck with her playtex cup so I went out and bought a starter Nuby cup (found it at WalMart). It has a soft spout like a nipple and the handles are easy to grab. It also feels lighter than her first sippy which I think helps. She's only really been getting the hang of it the last few weeks. Good luck!!!

DS never did well with sippy cups (couldn't seem to tip it up high enough unless it was all the way full), but he does really well with straw cups. We use Nuby straw cups.
We never had any luck with the sippy you have to tip back (hard or soft spout) so we use the Tommee Tippee ones with a straw. After giving one to her for just a day or two, she was already able to drink on her own!
