Day Care Suggestions?

Hi NorCal Mommas! I've been lurking on this board for a while....so many cute kiddos!

My DH and I are expecting in December. I am expecting that my Mom will help a bit with watching LO, but she also is the primary day care for my niece (4) and nephew (1.5) so a third is going to be a bit much.  We have some time to figure it out, but I've heard a lot about long wait lists for good daycare so thought I'd check to see if any of you have suggestions for places you've used and loved.

Like in the Elk Grove area but work in downtown Sac so am fairly open in terms of location.

    Hi! No help with recommendations here but wanted to say hi. I am in the Sac area too. In Orangevale though. Hope you love this board as much as I do!

    Just wanted to say hi there and welcome!

    I am from Monterey ca so ya I would not know much about daycare in Sac. This board is more active on the week days.

    Welcome to the boards! If you work in downtown I have a great suggestion for you, check out Discovery Tree Schools. Their website is discoverytreeschools.com. They have about 4 locations in downtown and they accept infants. Emme goes to the location in Citrus Heights and it is awesome! I love the school. It is a bit higher in price than others I visited, but totally worth it.

    Thanks for the welcome ladies and for the suggestion hersheykiss.  I think there is actually a Discovery Tree a few blocks from my house. I will definitely look into it!
