s/o morning sickness relief

I've discovered that buttered noodles seems to settle my stomach. I've had it for lunch the past two days and didn't get sick! Anyone else find something they can eat?

  • i just got a costco pack of cliff bars. even though they taste disgusting, even half of one will make me feel better (no MS) for a few hours. and it's nice to know i'm getting some kind of protein and vitamins, which i wasn't with eggos and ginger ale.

  • quiche. I had it like 3 times yesterday.
  • Crackers and chicken noodle soup for me!  In addition to massive quantities of Ginger Soother.  It's a ginger, lemon and honey drink made by the Ginger People.  It has been saving me these past days.

Good luck with the nausea and congrats on the baby!

  • Ugh...morning sickness! I found that blueberry bagels sat well with my stomach, and graham crackers did too. Butter toast, apple juice and oyster crackers as well. I am just over 8 weeks, and have had severe m/s since week 6 hit. I've been taking Zofran like clockwork, and just now finally getting used to having somewhat of an appetite back! I totally empathize with your pain. Hang in there!!!

  • Cheese seems to be the only thing that truly settles my stomach. It has to be hard, sharp cheese, like cheddar. It's the last thing I thought would stay down at all, but my best friend (who is 6 months farther along than I am) swore up and down it would work. Totally did.
  • Pickles! I love them.

  • cereal-- I was doing great, a little nauseas but no actual sickness, and the last couple of days I am so nauseas I can hardly do anything.  Only thing that seems to sound ok is cereal, specifically Cap'n Crunch with berries.
