After trying both cow and soy based formula we discovered DS is allergic to both, he is now on Nutramigen. I have two open cans of formula (Kirkland's infant formula and Enfamil Prosobee) that I cannot use. I've only used one or two scoops out of each canister. I hate to see perfectly fine formula go to waste when I know someone out there can really use it. I wonder if a shelter will take my formula? Sadly, there are a lot of quacks out there so perhaps they won't. Any one is welcome to have these two canisters if they trust me.
Re: Will a women's shelter take opened formula?
DS continued to have mucous in his output. After he took some soy formula his output also turned green. On top of it all, his broke out really badly with what seems like newborn acne. He was was fussy and seemed colicy between the hours of 7pm-9pm. Since I started pumping more and supplementing with Nutramigen his condition has improved.
