Even though we filled out the paperwork weeks ago?
Someone.. not sure if it was on DH's employer's end, or on Univera's end.. submitted us all as "new hire" paperwork, when we turned in the paperwork for Natalie.. so now, according to Univera, NONE of us have insurance until 9/1.. because there is a 60 day waiting period for his group for new hires..
Obviously, this has to be fixed.. but apparently it has to be done through DH's employer.. the guy at customer service on Univera (I actually didn't have to wait on hold for an hour this time) couldn't fix it for me.. and he couldn't actually see on his end that we'd been with Univera since January.. even though I just got the statements showing they covered all my hospital stuff and everything.All he could see is that none of us were "active" until 9/1/11.
The pharmacist (not my fave one, LOL).. was nice and gave me a "discount" card so I got her script for over half off.. it was only like $12something.. but I believe it should be $0 for generics for her.. but if/when we get the insurance fixed, they can resubmit it and refund us our money..
It just makes me want to smash my head into a wall though.. I feel like everything with health insurance is always so complicated!
