Cleaning paid off (literally)
I found $75 worth of Gap gift cards and $25 cash while cleaning out closets. The gift cards were in an old wallet and the cash was in an old greeting card from my mom.
It's like I just made $100 to do chores

Is it bad that within 5 minutes of finding them I spent $60 worth on Gap.com buying nursing camis? I have been meaning to get some but I didn't want to spend the money on something like that yet so this worked perfectly.

I am glad I'm not the only one! I need to get more too. I can't wait to get it all up and organized, which is part of why I was cleaning today, need to clear out the closet that's been used as extra storage thus far.
I am wondering how far in advance I can wash clothes and still have them be clean and fresh to wear...I don't want to do it too early but also not all at the last minute.

DH found $200 when cleaning out his backpack last month. It was from a vacation we took in May of 2010. He uses that backpack every day! I teased him mercilessly about it, but honestly I was super excited for the windfall!
