Hi all,
Weird question, but my DS (5 weeks) loves the wrap when I'm up and moving around. He goes right to sleep or just hangs out. But, as soon as I'm sitting still, he starts flailing around and gets upset. Any thoughts? Am I wrapping him too tight and he gets squeezed when I sit or maybe he just prefers movement?
I'm using a Moby or a Baby K'Tan and I will say that they're pretty darn hot this time of year, so maybe it could be that.
TIA for your advice--this is a great board to lurk on and I'm excited to keep working at our APing!
Re: Wrap & Sitting Down
Most babies I know get upset when the movement stops. I can rarely sit down when I am wearing R, but on those rare times when I can sit down, I have to keep rocking and patting his bum. Likewise, if I stand still for more than a minute, he gets angry, too, so I have to keep rocking and/or bouncing while I'm standing up.
If your LO was too hot, they would be upset no matter if you were moving around or not.

We have a rocker, but DS never let me sit in that. Exercise ball was a life saver.
