Anyone started doing the gender prediction tests yet?

Has anyone tried intelligender, baking soda, cabbage, or draino test yet? I'm 10 weeks today so I think I'm going to try them tomorrow morning!

Re: Anyone started doing the gender prediction tests yet?

  • My mom and I did the needle on a string test. It made a circle...

I don't know about these other tests.

  • I'm assuming you mean the POAS tests or the ones you mail in and have them test for you? I have heard such mixed results so I don't want to do it as I don't want to start planning for what it says (even subconsciously) and get disappointed if its wrong
  • I'm waiting for the intelligender to come in the mail and then I am going to use it!
  • I'm planning on it when i hit 10 weeks. I know it's not 100% but it's fun :)

  • Chinese chart says girl, but it said girl for my son.  LOL  A friend did the one you pee on...  Was wondering about that one.  LOL  What is the baking soda thing????

  • Has anyone heard that with the Chinese prediction test you have to add a year bc in the Chinese culture you are born at age 1? For example, I am 29, but I would look under 30 bc I would be considered 30 in this culture. I've heard this a few times, but not sure how accurate it is.

  • I've heard the Draino test is a bad idea, due to the fumes from the chemicals.

I might do the wedding-ring-on-a-string one, just for fun, but we're Team Green anyway... :)

On one website they said my Chinese age was 29 at conception when I'm 26 and was 26 at conception.

What is the baking soda one?

Are you serious? LOL That is hilarious. The baking soda one says to fill a cup with 1 tsp of baking soda, put urine on it, enough to cover baking soda. If it bubbles, it's a boy, if it doesn't, it's  girl. hehehehe.
