im sure this has been posted before but i was curious if the heart rate myth was a myth or accurate. the hb was 159 last time we went and everyone keeps telling me im having a girl even though i feel like its a boy. I only have 5 days until my next u/s but im curious about the hb.

mine was 140 and 148 at 12 and 15 weeks, we are having a girl.

Ours has been 165 and 160. We won't find out for sure until the 18th, but I have a strong feeling that the OWT will be right for us and that we're having a little girl.

Myth. My first three were all under 140 which would indicate all boys. I have two girls and a boy.

For me the heart rate was above 155 every time and it turns out that I'm having a girl even though I thought it was a boy.

This baby's heart rate has always been in the 170-180's and I said from day one that based on that, the baby was a girl. We found out on Tuesday that we are in fact having a girl. With our DD, her heart rate was always in the 160's, so for us the OWT is true.
