F/U ... I'm the 1st person ever to be excited about a cyst

I posted earlier this week that I was scared my IC (chronic pain condition) was returning after 18 months of relief.  I went to the OB/GYN today, for pain on my lower right abdomen and they found a "giant" cyst!  It is most likely the cause of my pain and the tension from it is most likely what caused my flare up this week!  It is such a relief to have a reason!

Now here's to hoping the cyst obeys doctor's orders and goes away on its own.  It is large enough that they weren't able to see the rest of my ovary.  I go back in 6 weeks to make sure it is shrinking.

Any "natural" remedies to banish a cyst?  I just got my depo shot last Friday (good timing I know), so I won't be getting a cycle anytime soon.  From my understanding your cycle is what shrinks them, so I'm a little a confused about this.

    Isn't that the truth. Does the ddepo affect it for you? I need to go back on some sort of birth control but am afraid the paraguard iud will make me flare. Imin my post natal remission though- happened wi both babies and I am so glad.

    I also went into remission with my pregnancy and since nursing.  The "theory" is that my stopping my period that the remission will remain.  I flare really bad around my period, so up until we decided to start trying I was on the depo shot.  When I went off of it, I had 2 years that my IC was beyond deblitating.  I waited until AF came back to get my depo shot, last friday was my first shot since my son was born.

    I joke that I'm just going to stay pregnant and breast feeding to keep it away ; )

    I also have IC and had a paraguard inserted a few weeks ago, so far I've been feeling pretty good.
