Baby Movement and Glucose Tolerance Test

Hi ladies. I just drank the glucose test drink today. The nurse had said that baby would be very active after I drank it, but I have felt no movement at all since drinking it a couple hours ago. I am just curious if anyone else had the same experience.

    I was expecting a huge surge in movement, but actually, he seemed to move about the same amount that I would normally expect for that time of day.

    I took my glucose test a few weeks ago and my baby was not any more active than normal.  It's as if she didn't even notice it.  I think everyone reacts differently to the glucose drink.

    I had that experience.

    It can depend on the babies positioning in the womb.  My little guy was really low and I barely felt a thing.

    BFP#2 2.5.11 (EDD 10.15.11) DS born 9.28.11

    I really didn't feel more movement either, and I had 2 tests in 2 days. She was a wiggle worm after I was finally able to eat though (had to fast for the 2nd one).

    She didn't change her pattern at all, and probably slept through the whole experience!

    Me too- I had mine this morning and I didn't notice any more activity in there than usual.

     I had mine today too, and haven't felt much movement since.   Maybe baby is in sugar shock :-)

    She didn't move any more than she normally does in the morning. She is usually very active in the morning anyways.

    I didn't feel increased movement at all, made me think I give her too much sugar all the time so she's used to it Embarrassed
