You have 2-3 hours of "me" time. What would you do?

DH is on a 10-day business trip. MIL generously offered to watch DS tomorrow for a few hours (late afternoon into dinnertime). Now, I'm just trying to figure out what to do! I tried to book a massage, but no dice bc it was late in the game (although I suppose I could call around more). Other than that, all I can think of is the gym or shopping without a toddler, haha. Ideas are appreciated.

I would keep looking for a massage place... that sounds awesome. If not I would get a tan or go get a pedicure.

I second the movie, snack idea. Maybe get a facial/mani/pedi or some combo. Do you have a friend with a pool? Jeez, I'm jealous I don't know what I'd do with hours of "me" time. Have fun!

The last time I had a sitter (and did not have to work) I got a pedicure and then went straight to a movie. I squeezed in 2 kinds of self-indulgence and it was great!

If unable to book a massage, I would get an extra long mani/pedi with extra foot massage, and definitely go clothing shopping and buy myself a treat.

Go whitewater kayaking. Sorry, oh wait that's me. That's my first idea because I might actually get to do this this weekend and I'm so excited. I haven't been in about 8 years. But not everyone is into that kind of thing, so otherwise I would probably go for a walk/hike, go shopping, or have dinner with some friends.
