We use Liberty Mutual for home, cars and some of our life insurance. Used to use State Farm but switched when we found out the same coverage with LM would be over $1,000 less per year.
It's strange though, it seems like every time I talk about this with someone they tell me they already use LM and looking to switch So, I dunno
We use Progressive and have been really happy with them. However, they do their homeowner's insurance through two different companies. One is very expensive (premium was over 1k) and the other is very inexpensive (our premium is under $400). We do our insurance through a small insurance company based out of Wisconsin who are licensed through Progressive and have been really happy with them and their customer service. We have a 1k deductible. Let me know if you want their name.
We used to have American Family for house and car. They were fine but their rates went up every year.

I have Cincinnati Insurance for auto and home. I have been very pleased with them and I think I have a pretty good rate. We don't currently live in Cincinnati so I can't recommend my agent but when I did a few years back we used Jack Baker Insurance and they were great. I assume they are still around. I like using an independent agent because they have access to several different companies to give you a good rate.
We use USAA for everything. They are, hands down, the greatest company in the world and have exceptional customer service. If you or your H are eligible for their services I cannot recommend them enough.
