I'm sneaking over from 1st Tri to see if any of you got a pregnancy related book for your SO. MH is interested is something written for dads. Any recs? TIA!
DH read The Expectant Dad and said it was pretty good. I didn't read it but skimmed through a little bit and it seemed ok to me. It breaks down the pregnancy week by week I think and talks about what to expect in terms of what mom might be feeling or physically going through and ways to be supportive (loved that part).
While it's not geared directly towards dads, I highly recommend Baby 411.
DH and I are both reading that, which is helpful b/c we're both on the same page. It's a straightforward guide on everything. You can download it to an iPAd.

I gave DH the book "Show Dad How" for father's day. It was more kinda a joke, but at the same time it has helpful stuff. He read the whole thing and loved it! Probably not the best to use as the ONLY dad guide, but it was a good one.
The dude's Guide to Pregnancy. I've actually Laughed out Loud at some of the stuff in this book. It's actually very informative while still being a good read (even for me). Its def a bit irreverent though...but as long as that doesn't really bother you.
IS DADDY ALREADY A READER? if not, going through the trouble of finding and purchasing a great book can be really frustrating if daddy dosent read it.
My husband has his masters degree and is a casual reader (you know..."hey can you pass me something to read im going to be in the bathroom" guy) all i asked him to read was the section in "what to expect when ur expecting" for dads.
Girl, i will be 40wks in 4days and he skimmed the section. THE BEST THING I DID W MY HUBBY: attending an all day birth class and short breastfeeding class as a couple. He s so much more informed and he also got to see other men learning.
Men can be challenging. Find out what might work for him. Hopefully this note will save u some heartache. good luck and God bless ur pregnancy!!

This one had my DH in tears! He passed it on to his brother when they were expecting!
Yes, MH is a reader.
If your Dad to be is more interested in fathering (as opposed to logistics of wiping a tushy) try this: https://fatherstobe.org/ftb%20handbook.htm
