Katherine Grace arrived 6/13!

Katherine Grace arrived at 5:19pm on June 13th weighed 8 pounds 14 ounces and 19 inches long. The birth story is pretty simple. I went in to be induced on the 13th (originally scheduled for the 9th but it was canceled) and had a pretty normal birth. I was GBS positive, so Katherine had to spend 48 hours in the hospital, which she mostly slept.

Coming home has been a not so simple story. Katherine had some latching issues and lost too much weight for the pedi to be comfortable, so I saw the LC twice in two weeks and have had 3 weigh in's with her. As of yesterday, she is gaining appropriately while BFing full time. It's been a tough 2 1/2 weeks and I have gone no where except to doctors appointments because I was constantly BFing. Katherine has figured things out and we are on the road to having a some what normal life again and I am actually wearing shirts around the house instead of just a nursing tank ;)

 I have pictures, but have had little time to download them off the camera. I also want to change my siggy, but for the life of me I can't figure out where to go to do that.
