Sleep sweats

Is anyone else a sweaty mess when they're sleeping??

I know it's summer and of course it's hot, but I find myself waking up a lot in the middle of the night just completely drenched in sweat.  We keep our a/c on damn near arctic temperatures during the night and I don't really feel hot, but I cannot stop sweating.  I'd say every night for the past 2 weeks or so I've thought either my water broke or a peed the bed, but then soon realize I'm just sweating all over the place.

Re: Sleep sweats

  • Oh yeah. I usually am always cold and can't sleep without be all bundled up but most nights I sleep without any blankets on.

  • I usually complain about it being too cold, but I've had to turn the temp down from where DH was setting it, and I realized I could be comfortable with one temp during the evening, but I need to drop it at least two more degrees for overnight.

Before that, I wasn't sweating, but I was waking up a few times at night and just felt very "off" each time. Not exactly lightheaded or hot.. but just, like something wasn't right and somewhat fuzzy headed. Since I started dropping the temp a few degrees and have the fan running on me... and started wearing more of a moo moo type dress in a very light fabric, I've been sleeping pretty great.

Hope you figure out a way to sleep well!
