Adventures in Solids--Butternut Squash

On a hot Ohio Wednesday, I roasted a butternut squash.  Yes...in 93 degree weather, I had the oven on.  *stupid*  This one organic squash made FOUR ice cube trays of food!  I was nervous.  I hope to heck he liked it!  So late this morning, I gave it a go....pictures speak louder than words.

I'm ready, Mom!  Game face ON!

Oooh yes!  Mommy you are so talented to feed me left handed and snap a photo with the big Fuji at the same time!

    Love the captions! He is so darling! 

    I think we may start with butternut squash now since your DS likes it so much, and both DH and I don't like carrots much. Butternut squash is a favorite though.

    When did you start feeding him solids?  My ped said not until five or six months and I think Carson is ready he keeps watching us eat and looks like he wants some.  I feel so bad for him that I have been giving him water from a spoon.

    Family doctor gave us the go ahead at 4 month check up, so we started Tuesday with carrots.
