2011-12 School Calendar

Maybe it's just me but I just looked at the school calendar and it looks like a hot mess.  I can't even decipher the symbols and codes to figure out when my child does/does not have school.  But I can tell that there is not one single month where they have school Monday-Friday with out a day off in the middle of the week.  I'd rather they take most of the furlough days and just start school a week later.

Sorry I don't have a link direct to the calendar but how does our schedule look compared to some of y'alls?

    I HATE our calendar for Fulton.  They took away days during the holidays again this year.  We go back so freaking early.  Teachers have PRE-pre planning for 3 days.  Annoying.

    Yuck! That is crazy. We are moving from Minnesota to Woodstock this week. My daughter is not thrilled that she has to start on August 1st! School has never started before labor day around here.

    Holy legend batman! There are crazy symbols all over that calendar! It does seem like they have a day off every month which isn't very convenient for working parents at all.
