Hi ladies! We just moved to Boston this past week and are so excited!! We found out the week before that we are expecting again!!
Since we are new to the area, I am hoping you would be able to recommend a OBGYN? In Ohio, I knew the Drs and hospitals but feel at such a loss here...
I have also heard of the benefits of prenatal yoga, and would love to try a class. Does anyone go to a yoga center that offers these? I looked at South Boston Yoga, but none of their classes are specifically "prenatal" yoga...
Thanks ladies!!
Re: OBGYN reco & Prenatal Yoga Classes?
I love One Brookline Place for an OBGYN. I have Dr. Kolbas but all the drs. in that group are awesome! They are affiliated with Brigham and Women's and right up the road from there.
I just started Pre-Natal Yoga and LOVE it! It is at Healing Tree in Quincy, not sure if that is convenient. They have 3-4 classes a week. There is also a place in Savin Hill(Dorchester) can't think of the name. Harvard Vanquard in Quincy also offers it, I think 1 night a week. Good luck!
Welcome to the Boston area and congrats!! I HIGHLY recommend prenatal yoga--it worked wonders for my body during and after pregnancy. Marathon Physical Therapy in Newton is so passionate about women's health and is offering a prenatal yoga class that you can either drop in to when you can or register for a set amount of classes. https://www.marathonphysicaltherapy.com/
As for OBGYNs I switched to the Midwives of Mount Auburn Hospital at 6 months through my pregnancy and had an amazing experience.
Good luck!
