Can't shake this anxiety

My 2nd beta results come in this morning, they should call me before noon. I'm doing everything I can to do not call them when they open at 8:30. I couldn't sleep at all last night. Ugh, I wish I could just enjoy my pregnancy like I did with my son

. Please say a little prayer that it at least doubles! I appreciate all of your support so much.

I know how tough that anxiety is. My first beta is this morning, and I'm already nuts over it.

In the early days of the board (and maybe still now?), we had several mantras. I've been repeating them to myself, and they might be helpful for you too. The first two are the most helpful to me, but I posted them all in case they all help!

-"Today I am pregnant and I love my baby."
--"I am pregnant until someone tells me otherwise."
--"My past does not dictate my future. A previous m/c does not mean I will have another m/c."
--"Just because something sad is happening to another poster, does not mean it will happen to you." We all know m/c and complications are not contagious!
-- "Hope does not make bad things happen" You cannot ?jinx? your pregnancy by creating a ticker, getting excited, or telling someone. Live in the positive!

--And this is the hardest one: "There is nothing I can do to prevent a m/c from happening. Worrying yourself sick doesn't prevent a m/c. And if (gods forbid) it were to happen again, I know I will survive."

Ts and Ps for doubled betas! There will be times during your pregnancy that you will enjoy, so celebrate every milestone that you can. A good beta result would definitely be cause for you to celebrate today.
