at what point do you go to doc for colds?

our girls have some nasty colds right now. No fever but their noses are just pouring. It has just been clear now it's starting to get green, they are miserable. We have zyrtec and ibprohphen we are giving them.

Is there any point in going to the doc?

    If it's turning green and they seem miserable, I would take them just in case.  But every time I have taken mine for a cold (3 times in 17 months) we have been told it's just a cold that we need to ride out.  But the pedi always thanks us for coming and checking things out anyway.

    After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!

    I usually talk to a nurse on duty first to see what they say, they will (should) give you guidance based on age and symptoms.

    We only went in when I thought it had turned into a fever which meant a likely ear infection.  Although now, I'd probably even wait that out a day or two.
