Two Under 2

contours options tandem stroller

Anyone recommend it? I've been eyeing it, mainly for all the different seating options. Is it huge? Heavy? Hard to maneuver?

Out of all the double strollers I've seen, this is my favorite. I've never seen it in person though. Anyone have any recommendations for strollers like it? DS will be about 16-17 months old with the new baby arrives, so is buying a double stroller even worth it?

Sorry for all the questions!

Re: contours options tandem stroller

  • Thanks, I also really like the Britax one. I'm going to look into the Bob one too.

I really need something thats not going to fold up and be huge. I have a BMW 323i and the trunk is pretty big, but the Graco double and the sit & stand ones don't fit very well. We do plan on getting an SUV next year sometime...so maybe its not that big of an issue.

  • Thats helpful to know. I'd say mine is about the same size as the Grand Prix, and I've seen the trunk in one and its the same size if not bigger than mine.

  • It weighs almost 37lbs-- I decided on the BJCM instead.

  • I have one, I like it. Taking the seat off doesn't bother me but it's a little heavy.

  • I would definitely see it and push it in person, if at all possible.

I have a girlfriend who has one and that thing is a bus!!  She likes it, but it's very long and the times we've been shopping with it have been a lesson on navigation through store aisles.

  • The Kolcraft is huge and heavy.  It does the job if you can't afford some of the nicer options, but if money isn't a huge factor I would skip it.

I have a Baby Jogger City Select and a BOB Duallie.

The BJCS is wonderful.  I love it.  I reviewed it here.

The BOB Duallie is also great for what it is.  I use it only for long walks and runs OUTSIDE.  I never haul that thing indoors or in malls because it is just way way way too big.  I could never use it as my only double.  I am training for a 1/2 marathon right now and use it all the time.

    Good luck with your choice!

I can't find any store here that sells it, even BRU doesn't carry it. I've looked my whole state over for one! Thats whats keeping me from buying it, is only being able to see youtube reviews on it.

Thanks everyone for all the suggestions and info. We were really hoping to keep the price under $350 but I'm starting to see most are well above are price range, and they seem to be worth it! Right now its between this and the Britax B-ready (yeah, a bit over budget)...both of which I can't find a store that carries.
