**MrsLCH** or any other RnP users.

On the sleep post below, you said that you just transitioned your LO from the RnP to the crib.  What have you done? I am about to muster up some courage to do this transition myself and would like to hear some helpful tips, if any.  I just need to bite this bullet soon.  I go back to work on Saturday :-(

  • I'll be watching this thread. Carissa sleeps 10-12 hours in her RnP and I'm dreading the switch. But I think it's effecting her shoulders/neck muscles which is freaking me out. I think we're going to go to the co-sleeper then the crib.

  • In the beginning my LO slept in the RNP almost exclusively.  I transitioned her to the crib by putting her in there for afternoon naps.  Then I started putting her in there for all naps, then at night.  I did buy a Soothing Comfort Mattress from BRU that vibrates, I think that also had something to do with it.  I'll tell you this, that mattress is worth every penny.

  • Dd slept in the rnp for a month and a half. I started transitioning her to the travel lite pnp in my room. When she would wake up for her middle of the night feeding, I would then put her in the rnp. Then soon she was sleeping in the pnp all night. I just transitioned her from there into the crib in the middle of June. So far so good, except for this d@mn growth spurt that is making her wake up to eat at 4 am. Sorry for formatting, on iPhone! Good luck!

  • Edmund one day decided he didn't like sleeping on an incline and would only sleep flat unless it was a nap. He didn't even scream the first night he slept in his crib.

Umm...I just noticed this post so sorry about the delay (if anyone even sees this).  My husband was actually the one who decided it was time for DS to sleep in his crib.  He was on bedtime duty that night and after bath/story/swaddle he just plopped him in his crib.  Up to that point he'd been sleeping in the RnP next to our bed.  I'm not going to lie, I was freaked out.  Totally not ready.  But, he did great!  He still slept from 9 to 6.  I'm not sure that's the best way to do things, but it seemed to work for us.  He slept swaddled in his crib for about a week and kept moving all around the crib so we tried not swaddling and so far so good.  He's still sleeping great.  I think DS was ready before I was and I just didn't want to admit it.
