It took DS a month or two to transition fully to 1 nap. I kind of just let him guide me and figure out if we'd be on the one or two nap schedule each day. If you really want to push it, try getting out and doing an activity in the morning to keep her up.

DS is 14 months and still does 2 naps. Once or twice a week he might skip the afternoon nap, but he's consistently sleepy around 10am, which would be way too early for 1 nap. I have no idea how to stretch it out to put him down around 12:30 or1!
My son went from 2 to 1 a few weeks ago, but now all the sudden he needs 2. I tried to keep him awake today, but he wouldn't have it. I'm curious to know how to, too!
Neither of my kids transitioned to one nap until they were 18 months or so. They would go through spurts occasionally of taking only one nap, but they were an overtired mess when that happened. Once they were ready it was an easy transition. I followed their cues with it.
DS is 15 months and just now starting to transition to one nap - but he's really only doing it at/for daycare (since he will be moving to the bigger room soon and they take 1 nap there). I still plan on giving him 2 at home because right now, he needs them since he wakes up so.damn.early.
Mine is 13 months and usually takes just 1 nap. We've been at 1 nap for awhile, BUT when he is teething really bad he will sometimes do two. Over the weekend we had two days of two naps a day. Like someone else said, I think it's a gradual transition.

My guy just made the transition at 19 months. And it was a lot of back and forth between 2 and 1 for a couple months leading up to this. I just followed his cues to make sure he's getting what he needs. I don't think there are any tricks...baby-led!

37 and dx with DOR...just fabulous
My son transitioned to one nap a day between 13 and 14 months. Some days he would nap 1X and other days 2X. It took a whole month to consistently drop the second nap.

This is my son exactly! I thought about trying to push the morning nap to later, but he really needs that nap around 10 am, and I have a hard time finding ways to be out of the house and super busy enough to push him through that morning nap every day. I figure when he's ready he will make that transition.

Ever since I have been having to wake DD2 up early (7am) to take DD2 to summer school, she has been back to naps. One at 9-9:30am and another around 2pm. She could get by on one nap when she slept later-til 9am or so.
Well, DD is still on 2 naps and is 17 months so I'm not helpful. I've been letting her lead. I guess if I wanted DD to take one nap, I would keep her really busy in the mornings and keep her up until noon or so.
Re: Any 13 month old still on 2 naps?
This! Our DD is 21 months and still takes two some days! I'm not worried about trying to get her to 1 nap at all.

For the last two months he has been between 1 and 2 naps. We had like a 2 weeks stretch of only 1 nap but now we're back to 2. I just follow his cues.

My DD still naps 2X a day.
This for DD1.

This. I'm especially loving the two naps now that I'm pregnant. I'm so tired all of the time I've been napping when she naps!
