Kid-friendly meet up spots in N Seattle?

I'm meeting a friend this afternoon. She lives in Magnolia, I live in Mukilteo/Everett. Is there anything you can think of that is in the middle [Northgate? Shoreline?] where our girls (1.5 and 2.5) would have fun and we could chat?

There's a little play area upstairs in the Third Place Books building at the Lake Forest Park shopping center. You guys can sit around the outside while the kids play. There are a couple play kitchens, blocks, trucks, etc. in there. Not very big, but free... with access to coffee.
