I know that you're not "supposed" to start solid foods until at least 4 months of age. But, is anyone starting earlier or later?
I started DD #1 on solids at 3 months just after we ate supper. We started out with rice cereal with some fruit/veggies stirred into it for a little something extra. I *think* we'll do the same for DD #2, but not sure yet. We will wait until she can hold her head up no problem, I do know that for sure....
Re: When are you starting solid foods?
I think most doctors actually recommend closer to 6 months, but all babies are different.
My first was no where near ready, so we waited until after 6 months. It took her a few weeks to get the hang of it.
I plan on waiting until 6 months this time too. Unless she shows signs of needing more earlier than that.
Really? I feel so "out of the loop" all of a sudden! I thought for sure I started DD #1 out at 3 months.... Maybe it was 4 or 5 months.... Hmmm... Now you have me thinking!
