I have not felt anything! I know it's early, and as a first time mom I was told I probably wouldn'y know it's the baby moving at first. But my Dr. was surprised today that I have not felt a thing!

Re: Who's feeling movement?
My baby is two!!! Baby girl 9/17/09
My other baby is still a baby! Baby Boy 11-30-11
I'm a FTM as well. I'm being monitored very closely for a bunch of reasons but I went in for an u/s at 16 weeks because I thought something was very weird (wrong). Turns out what I was feeling was the baby moving.
For me it isn't "butterflies in my tummy" or a quickening - it was a weird, not pleasant, sorta-pain. Hard to describe. I usually get it at night.

Just have to tell you that your daughter is so beautful!!! Love seeing your posts because I get another shot of that smile
It's exactly the same for me. Isn't it odd though that all the books I'm reading say it's soooo unlikely I'll feel movement this early?
I am or atleast I think I am. I felt a light tap, tap in the same spot for about four or five nights in a row. A few days went by where I didnt feel anything and then last night I felt the tapping again! It never lasts very long, 10-15 seconds, mainly late at night when I am watching tv or reading.
Hope you feel something soon!!
Fastest year of my life.
Me too. It's more like an inch or two below my belly button on the left side. I think that's where the baby must hang out. I work at a desk so I'm sitting still most of the day. I get flutters or popping (like popcorn) a few times a day. Yesterday morning the baby was really moving when I woke up. I keep trying to feel it from the outside but the baby stops moving whenever I put my hand on my stomach.
This is my second baby and I started feeling flutters around 12 weeks and pokes starting at 17 weeks. My DH felt the baby for the first time on Monday.
With my DD I felt flutters at 15 weeks and pokes around 18 weeks.
My SIL didn't feel movement until closer to 20 weeks and her DH didn't get to feel the baby until closer to 24 weeks. As you know, everyone is different.
I first felt movement in early in my 15th week. I was lying on my stomach, and I felt a weird squirming sensation on the lower left. I shifted, and then it stopped. This happened the next night too.
Two days ago I felt my first strong kick (or punch), which at this point was a weird poke feeling. No other movement, just that one strong poke. I'm happy to be feeling some movement though, it's reassuring.
