Imagine going through a miscarriage (not hard as we all lost a LO) but then imagine having to prove your innocence afterwards! Crazy stuff...

    Some freakshow politician in Georgia has been trying to get that passed for years!  I heard on NPR yesterday that a woman in a different state is currently on trial for murder because her baby was stillborn.  The prosecutors are alleging that the stillbirth was a result of drug use, even though they have no evidence that she actually used drugs while pregnant.  It makes me so mad.

    Actually, I take that back. Pigs are cute and a lot smarter than those a-holes.

    I do not need to be interrogated, examined, or have my records viewed by anyone after my miscarriage. What happened is between me and my doctor. Period. End of discussion. In fact, I'd venture a guess than even doctors can't pinpoint the cause of 90% of miscarriages. Why would some backwoods anti-science lawmaker be able to do a better job?

    If they wanted to, they could dig deep to figure out a way to charge you with murder I'm sure.  Do you know how many things I questioned after my mc?  Did the fact that I got my hair colored the week of my BFP cause me to mc?  Did the fact that I had to go on a business trip (fly) and went through the scanner cause my mc?  Did the fact that I drank during the 2 ww cause it?  That's the scary thing...they could seriously start nit-picking your actions and come up with some excuse as to why you were responsible for your mc.  SICK SICK SICK!

    I did the same thing you did as well, started picking out every little thing I could have done wrong. Too much caffeine? Push myself too hard at the gym? Drinking during the 2 WW etc, etc...yeah I just couldn't imagine having the added stress of proving it wasn't your fault on top of everything else.
