Poor me vent- I need to get it out, sorry. (BFPs mentioned)

I knew my SIL was pregnant when I saw her June 25th, just had this gut feeling she was pg with a girl. I got a call lastnight and they told us they are expecting. She found out July1st.

I feel so guilty that I am hella jealous. I am also beyond excited. They are great people, I love them and they have the most adorable 2 boys. I cant wait to be an aunt. I just feel really down that I am not pg too. I also feel like I have to let everyone know how happy I am about it (which I really am) or they will think I am mad, not happy or jealous. I didnt let DH see me cry lastnight. I wonder if he is feeling the same way.

I open FB and have 2 friends announcing, 1 that just had a baby (2 wks early, she was due on my EDD) lastnight and 2 friends talking about the "joys of being pg in July heat".

I should be round, swollen and ready to pop on July 20th.

I also have 1 friend who has been amazing though all of this who just found out she was pg. She has had 3 m/c and 3 children. She had an apt for an IUD and found out she was pg. I am so happy for her. I also feel bad that she "feels like an azz" getting pg (on accident) before me. I am so OK with her getting pg.

My Mom also told me this morning that a mutual friend who has had 4 m/cs and diagnosed with MTHFR (is that right?) has heard/seen a heartbeat and is farther along than she has ever been.

It does me good to hear about these last too, gives me hope.

I just needed to get it all out in hopes that I can quit obsessing on all the "pregnantness" around me.

It is a little stingy when everyone seems to be in heat and preggers. I am happy for them and at the same time it is an unpleasant reminder about our dreams. This isn't an easy journey is it. Hugs to you.

Oh, Baroo. The pregnantness is really really tough to deal with.

It is okay to feel jealous/angry/upset or whatever it is exactly that you are feeling. You are grieving and dealing with a horrific loss. You deserve to feel however you feel. I think the guilt sometimes is because we feel it is about THEM (the pgs) when in actuality it is about what they remind us of. It doesn't mean we have ill-will towards ANYONE. It is 100% normal to feel how you feel.

I have a pg SIL as well due 2 weeks after my EDD with her second. I am insanely jealous and put on a "happy face" but b!tch behind her back to make myself feel better.

Don't apologize for needing to vent- I'm pretty sure nearly all of us have vented about this very topic at least once (some of us-me- maybe more Embarrassed .) Of course we are happy for others who get pregnant and have zero worry. Does that mean that it still doesn't hurt immensely? Of course not!

Interesting info about the MTHFR (?) and early loss... I have also never made it to the point where a heartbeat could be heard.

Big ((((hugs))))) it's hard to be around all the time, I completely understand. It's hard to not feel jealous, even though you are happy for them. 3 of my friends that are pg are due this month.....and me? Oh I get to celebrate my b-day with an empty ute this weekend! Sad

Hopefully we'll all being moving over to pgal soon.

Its perfectly normal to have these feelings. At least I hope it is, because I do!! I have one friend who will have her baby in October and another who got her BFP a few days before me...she just heard its little heart beat at 165 the other day. I'm so incredibly happy for them...but its supposed to be me too! Its hard not to be jealous. Hang in there, our times will come soon!!

Oh ::hugs:: to you. I know what you are going through. Some people just get pregnant so easily and that's it, others you just can't help but be happy for because of how hard it is for them and it is hope. It's hope like that that got me through because my 1st 2 pregnancies were losses, had I not heard about women like the ones you know I think I would have been to scared to try again and again. Vent all you need because that is how you heal :-)

Thank you guys so much. It is nice to know I am not alone in my feelings. It sucks, like Tapaito said, that this aspect of our lives is passing us by. I hate that we are all over here, and know exactaly what it feels like to see you friends and family get pg (and the FHs too, although that is a different feeling).

Thanks for letting me vent, it has made a world of difference today. I greatly appreciate you all and this board. I hate to think what I would be like if I didnt have you all.

My DH also won't spring for HBO (but has no problem paying a monthly fee so he can play WoW all the time...grrrr) BUT I found a loophole--one of my close friends DVR's it for me and I have weekly dates with her to watch it. Yay!!!!!!!!!! Too bad last night during our date, I found out she was pg. SO INCREDIBLY happy for her, but Ouch!
