Magnetic Primer Paint/Displaying Artwork

I mentioned the magnet board that my DH made Ethan last week and never posted pictures.  I love it and think it turned out so cool.  It took three coats of magnetic primer (dries really fast in 30 min) and then just putting a coat of his blue back on top.  We got the primer at Home Depot.  Th

    Looks great! We did the primer paint in our kitchen (above a built in desk). It took 3 coats too. We didn't frame it out since we wanted it to be invisible. You can see a slight line because the primer was so thick. I love it!

     I've read a lot of people do the magnetic primer with chalkboard on top. I think that would be fun to try!

    What rock have I been living under?  That is the coolest thing since sliced bread.  Will have to do that to the boys room whenever we move into a new home.

    That is such a good idea! We haven't changed Owen's room from his nursery stuff yet but I think this will be great for when we do.
