if so where are they when you are in the shower? DH is outside mowing and I really need to clean when DS naps so I am debating on jumping in the shower now. I am so nervous about letting DS have the house to roam......
WDYD when you are home alone and need to shower when DC is awake?

If I wake up and she's playing nicely in her bed, I'll jump in the shower before I get her, but I always take the monitor into the bathroom.
If she's awake, I just lock her in the bathroom with me. Usually she ends up in the shower with me. I wouldn't let her roam the house - who knows what she'd get into?
I do.
I put on a show...they will usually stay in the living room if a cartoon is on...not always watching the cartoon, but playing with toys or whatever.
OR, I put them in the tub with me...they play with their toys, get sprinkled with the shower...I get my shower. Then I get out, get my bathrobe on, and clean them up.

I usually jump in while she's really interested in playing with something in her room or watching a show. She'll usually end up jumping in with me. We have a jack and jill bathroom so I leave both doors open in the bathroom and close our room doors so she only has free range of the bedrooms.
