We just ran out of newborn diapers yesterday and are now using the size 1 diapers that we have. The newborn diapers still fit but they probably would not for much longer, so we didn't want to buy anymore of that size.

DD is still wearing NB at almost 7 weeks old! She just started to grow out of some of her NB clothes, so I assume she'll be in size 1 diapers soon. When she fits into those she can finally start using cloth diapers!
It's a good thing I never bought newborn diapers ... I got a decent number of free samples from when I was going into the hospital for NSTs and he leaked through every single one of them. But then again, he was over 8lbs when he was born.

I moved to size 1's since LO was peeing and pooping thru the newborn sizes. She would fill the newborn size with one pee! So now I have some newborn sizes I can't return
LO moved to size 1's at about 1.5 weeks old when we ran out of the newborn ones. They were a little big for her then, but now they fit perfectly. She is ten pounds now, though, so after we finish off our next box of 160 (from Amazon subscribe & save), we'll probably need to switch to 2's. I went ahead and changed my next subscribe & save order accordingly -- thanks for the reminder. I can't believe how fast our LOs are growing!
My LO is a tiny peanut so he's in premie diapers. It kinda sucks because we bought 2 boxes of newborns thinking those would be fine but then he was even smaller than everyone expected so we're buying premie diapers. I feel like we're at Target 2-3 times each week buying diapers since they don't come in the economy box.
We opened our last bag of newborns we were gifted when DS was on the cusp. NBs were still good, but so were 1s. Well, by the end of that not too big bag, he was leaking through every NB... especially at night! He's in 1s now. He weighs over 11 pounds but is so long I think he'll be in 1s for awhile.
at 6lb 4oz they had her in 1s at the hospital. We used up our nb's when we got home and by 2-3 weeks she was back in 1s. Didnt want to go buy more nb's when the 1s fit fine.
My hospital also put LO in size 1's. When I got home and tried to put the NB diapers on her they just seemed too small. Although reading everyone else's responses i'm starting to wonder if I could have? She was born at 8lbs 1oz. I had opened my pack of NB diapers and put them in the stacker and didn't use any of them... She is still in size 1's and I think she will be for awhile.

Claire is still wearing the newborn disposables that we got for our baby shower. I am almost out though and will try on a size 1 today. (Got a lot of size 1-2 also). Then, hopefully she will fit in all of her cloth diapers once I run out of disposables.
LO started with size 1 at the hospital (they told us that was his size), even though they seemed really long and saggy on him. We continued with size 1 until his circumcision healed. I figured his little boy parts could use the extra room.
Now that he's healed, I'm using up all the newborn diapers I had. They are a little snug (he's 8 lbs, 4.5 oz. now) but they work ok and he doesn't seem uncomfortable in them. I have a few more days' worth and then we'll switch back to size 1.
