1 night away for business trip

Ugh, am I a horrible person for looking forward to a full night's sleep in a big fluffy hotel bed?

And at the same time dreading being away from my LO?  The trip is the week before I officially go back to work.

    No. I had a blissful nights sleep in a hospital bed the night before my surgery. A hospital bed! With an IV and nurses waking me up for vitals. I would LOVE a hotel bed. Sigh, you are a lucky woman.

    No, not at all.  I was wondering this morning about the feasibility of having DD stay the night at grandma's so I could get my first decent night's sleep in six months!

    No not at all. I have already left my baby overnight. Surprise
    Last weekend, SO & I went out to a karaoke bar for a friends birthday. I texted my sister constantly asking for updates of the baby, but I had so much fun!

    When I was visiting my mom last she insisted that Ben sleep in her room.  I left her pumped bottles and I actually woke up to use the bathroom and ended up deciding to pump in the middle of the night, but it was amazing!

    I travel way too much for work and already have 3 trips lined up (one is for 5 nights..) so I'm really, really dreading it. Luckily for 2 of the 3 trips LO is coming with me! For one I'm flying my mom down and the other DH is coming down. I know I'll have to travel more without her, but I just can't think about it right now. Though the good nights rest is the ONE thing that makes it slightly easier to think about!
