OB-GYN/hospital in Loudoun County

Ladies,

 Can anyone recommend a good ob-gyn around Leesburg area, my current doctor is located in DC and I would like to find one close to home, also which hospital do you guys recommend?  I delivered my first baby at GW in DC and had a great experience but again I need to find a hospital in loudoun county.  Thanks in advance!

    Many people loved hte birthing inn at loudoun hospital.  I moved about an hour from there so I delivered elsewhere but have gone to visit many friends there after having babies and they have all had good experiences.  If midwives are your speed there is a great practice that delivers in the hosptial.  Loudoun County midwives is the practice.   womens physicians of northern va in ashburn is a popular practice as well!

    Inova Loudoun is the only hospital in Loudoun County currently. My OB is Dr Stokes with Women's Healthcare Associates, I think he's great. His office is in the office building right across from The Birthing Inn at Loudoun Hospital.

    I'm lucky I've been in a birthing ward alread since I live RIGHT between INOVA Fairfax, Loudoun, and Reston. I wouldn't know which to pick! However... I love INOVA Loudoun's birthing ward! It is really niece. My SIL gave birth there 2 years ago and sine I've decided I wanted to give birth there, too. I'm also waiting to go in for my first appointment with her OB, Dr. Foster. He's really understanding and open to what you want to do with your birth (she even pulled my niece out of herself with his permission!) and he works with Mid-wives if you want to go that route as well as located basically in the Hospital! 

     

    So yea, Dr. Foster, even though I haven't had my first appointment with him, is recommended! If he isn't under your insurance go check on your insurance's website for who you can go see. :)

    FYI, Dr Foster no longer does backup for the loudoun community midwives.

    I highly recommend Loudoun Physicians for Women in Leesburg (across from the outlets). They deliver at The Birthing Inn at INOVA Loudoun.
