Re: Any OB GYN recs for the ACTON area?

  • Are you comfortable being far from the hospital?  I would call the boston hospitals for recs.  Brigham and Womens would be my first choice.

If you want to be closer i love my OB (but I'm not high risk). I got to concord OBGYN.  They are affiliated with Brigham and Womens but you would deliver at Emerson.  Heres a link to the Emerson Hospital, it lists the drs that will do high risk. I reccomend dr. travias and dr. jordano-alter.   Hope that helps begin your search. • I second Concord OB/Gyn. They are a great group of doctors and handle high risk as well. They are located across from Emerson Hospital in Concord, Ma. Emerson is also a wonderful place to have a baby!

  • AFA OB/GYN (All Female Associates) is also located at Emerson. They work hand in hand with Concord OB/GYN. I have had a fantastic expierence there. This is my first pregnancy and it has been such a wonderful time so far! Dr. Ingrid Balcomb is the head OB with AFA, she is very friendly and has a great background. I have had many friends who have had their kids delivered by Dr. Balcomb, all with fantastic results.  Good luck!
