How are you ladies getting things done throughout your m/s? Luckily I'm a teacher, so I'm off for the summer, but there are a lot of things I'd like to be getting done while I'm home that have all been put on hold because I feel so sick. I'm nervous to even run errands on the chance that I toss my cookies while out. What are you doing that seems to be helpful?
Re: working through the m/s
When I'm at work I snack as often as I can, as I find if I get hungry it gets so much worse. I am on medication for the morning sickness, but it isn't 100% at all. I have had to explain the situation to my boss, so she knows if my quality/quantity of work drops, this is what is going on, and they've been very understanding! (thank the good lord)
At home, my poor fi is doing everything, and I feel terrible for it, but I'm so much worse at night

I take my time doing things. Resting in between to make sure I don't vomit or get overheated. Believe it or not, I feel worse when I just lay around ALL day. Even though I have to force myself, it either makes me feel better or distracts me from the nausea but either way, doing little errands/things around the house here other there help.
Peppermint candy/gum also helps me. NONE of the other trisk work. Crackers do nothing. Ginger makes me gag. Ginger ale is too sweet. And Zofran only helps a little (Phenegran makes me pass out so it is only an option at night).
I hope things get better for you. Play around with stuff and find a pattern that works. Try not to get overheated and rest often. Some people try motion sickness bands, and have success with that. Good luck, and hope you find some relief soon!
Oh! Yes! PP is like me: I'm far worse at evening/night than morning/early afternoon.
This has been such a struggle for me! I work an office job so I try to eat crackers all day, which really sucks when you feel sick. I've been so nauseous 24/7 for the last week that yesterday I broke down and called my doctor about starting vitamin B6. She put me on 25mg 3x day, and I also started wearing the Psi bands last night. It hasn't even been 24 hours since I started these things but I swear they made me feel better already last night.
I'm just hoping my coworkers don't ask why I started wearing these super snazzy bands on both my wrists. Even my family doesn't know I'm pregnant yet!
Seriously, I am so sick of m/s already and I just hope and pray it goes away soon, at least by the end of my first trimester. It's so hard to function like this.

only I'm on unisom/b6 combo all day (it just barely takes the edge off)
eat often... even if it's a jolly rancher, sour patch kid, or one of those preggie pops (which I actually like).
drink tons of fluids
peppermint tea (tazo refresh is really good)
i bought one of those anti-nausea bands for $12... can't decide if it helps or it's a placebo effect, but it does seem to help, esp at work
i'm actually doing better at work, i think bc i can't just sit around and think about it, which is what i do in the evenings and makes it worse.
Sea Bands seem to help a little. It is hard to conceal a pregnancy when you're running to the bathroom though.
I stayed home last night while my husband went out to dinner with his parents. I was dead tired and didn't feel up to small talk. Instead of him telling his parents I was tired (which was the truth), he told them, "She's feeling nauseous right now" So of course they all blurted out, "Is she pregnant?" Agh! Dumb DH.
